These general conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the remote reservation of services offered by the SAS Société d'Exploitation du Château de Charbogne (SECC) - 11 grande rue - 08130 Charbogne. They govern all the steps necessary for the reservation and the follow-up of the reservation between the contracting parties. The customer acknowledges having read and accepted these general conditions of sale and the special conditions of the reserved rate accessible on our reservation platform. These apply to all bookings made online, via our booking platform.
Château de Charbogne undertakes not to disclose to any third party information of any kind whatsoever, on any medium whatsoever, that the client may have given to it on the occasion of the execution of this reservation. .However, these latter provisions do not apply to requests for information made by the authorities and/or the courts.
BOOKING PROCESS:
Reservations made by the customer are made through the reservation platform. The reserving customer can only use this site if he is of legal age and authorized to sign contracts which engage his responsibility. He is financially responsible for all his use of the site.
The customer agrees, prior to any reservation, to complete the information requested on the reservation form. The customer certifies the veracity and accuracy of the information provided. After the final choice of the services to be reserved, the reservation procedure includes in particular the seizure of the bank card in prepayment of the deposit, the consultation and the acceptance of the general conditions of sale and the conditions of sale of the price reserved before the validation of the reservation and, finally, the validation of the reservation by the customer. The customer receives a booking confirmation email.
PAYMENT: Payment of the balance of the stay will be made at the latest one month before arrival
A 30% deposit is taken from the customer's credit card at the time of booking (if direct booking on the site) or a transfer is expected if direct booking.
The balance will be paid by transfer or by check or holiday vouchers. In case of privatization of the castle (the main building and the two lodgings): a deposit of 15% is requested, the payment of the balance is expected no later than six months before the date of arrival.

TERMS OF CANCELATION :
The customer is reminded, in accordance with Article L. 121-21-8 12° of the Consumer Code, that he does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L. 121-21 of the Consumer Code. consumption.
All termination must be notified by email or post, the date of receipt by Château de Charbogne being taken as proof.
- More than 180 days before entering the premises: 100 euros in administration fees will be retained.
- From 180 days to 89 days: 50% of the amount of the stay
- From 90 days to 1 day: 90% of the amount of the stay
- No-show: if the client has not shown up on the day mentioned on the contract, after a period of 24 hours and without notification to Château de Charbogne: the entire rent is retained by Château de Charbogne, the contract is considered terminated, the Château de Charbogne may dispose of its rental.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A security deposit of 1000 euros is requested.The customer must send it to the owner no later than one week before arrival and it will be returned to the tenant within 15 days of the return of the keys, if no damage has been observed. For foreign customers or customers who do not have a checkbook, the security deposit must be paid by bank transfer before arrival. In case of loss of keys, an amount of 50 euros will be deducted as compensation from the security deposit. For the privatization of the castle, the security deposit then amounts to €5,000.
ANIMALS : Animals are not allowed inside the Château de Charbogne.
USE OF THE PREMISES: The Château de Charbogne will provide the accommodation in accordance with the description it has made of it and will keep it in working order. The customer will enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it, in accordance with the description of the premises.
The rental is for the exclusive use of the customer and his family or friends.The customer is required to respect the rules of life in use in the country, in particular not to cause nuisance to the neighborhood, especially after 10:00 p.m.
The installation of tents or the parking of caravans or motorhomes on the land of the rented property is prohibited, except with the prior agreement of Château de Charbogne.
The customer undertakes to notify the lessor of any damage caused to the rental within 24 hours. Objects must remain in place in their respective rooms. Any damage or missing item will result in a deduction from the amount of the security deposit.
The premises must be kept clean by the customer. The elements of the furniture must be kept as they are, the plants watered.
The customer must ensure that the premises are well ventilated to avoid any concentration of humidity and condensation. It is forbidden to throw into the toilets any object likely to block or obstruct the pipes.
All repairs, regardless of their importance, made necessary by the negligence of the customer during the rental, will be at his expense.
In the event of inconvenience beyond the owner's control (public or private service strike, gas or electricity cuts, etc.), the client cannot consider Château de Charbogne responsible. Similarly, in the event of administrative closure of the swimming pool decided by the Regional Health Agency, Château de Charbogne cannot be held responsible.
INVENTORY OF FIXTURES AND INVENTORY: The rented goods are considered to be free of damage when the customer enters. The latter will have until the day after his arrival at 10 a.m. to report to Château de Charbogne any anomalies observed, after this period, the damage observed will not be the responsibility of Château de Charbogne but of the client.
If the Château de Charbogne finds damage after the departure of the client, it must inform him within a week.
USE OF THE SWIMMING POOL : Rules for access to the swimming pool will be sent to the client.The customer agrees to respect these regulations and to ensure that they are respected by all participants in the stay (excerpt: prohibition of drinking and eating at the swimming pool, children under the supervision of an adult, obligatory soapy shower before swimming.. .) . Access to the pool is between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
SPECIFIC HEALTH CONDITIONS : If administrative restrictions were issued by the government (localized confinement, traffic restriction, etc.), last minute postponements and cancellations are accepted. (€100 processing fee for cancellations)
INSURANCE: The customer is required to insure the premises entrusted to or rented to him. He must therefore check whether his main residence contract provides for the holiday extension (holiday rental) If the opposite is the case, he must intervene with his insurance company and claim the extension of the guarantee or take out a contract particular, under the "resort" clause. A certificate of insurance will be requested from him on entering the premises or, failing that, a sworn statement.
SECURITY: Due to the particularity of the place: 16th century castle surrounded by moats, the client must be vigilant regarding the safety of his family or friends. It is the customer's responsibility to supervise children carefully. It is not recommended to approach the edge of the water. Swimming is prohibited in the moat.
DISPUTES OR COMPLAINTS
It is recommended to contact the local tourist office which will intervene for the amicable settlement of disputes.
For any dispute not resolved amicably, the court of jurisdiction is that of the place of the building subject to the rental.
